Your Next Challenge
The Regulatory Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful completion of environmental remediation projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, monitor project progress, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide leadership to your project team to deliver first-class service with operational excellence and regulatory compliance.
This role will require working closely with all client-facing teams and support functions applying our 7 principles:

You will:
* Proactively assess and improve the customer experience both digitally and offline.
* Be comfortable communicating at Executive Level.
* Have experience in the Financial Services industry, understand consumer duty and good experience with complaint management.
Key Accountabilities
Project Management
* Lead and manage remedial projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
* Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, to ensure effective communication and implementation of remedial actions.
* Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on project progress, risks, and outcomes for senior management and regulatory bodies.
Procedural Processes
* Develop, implement, and refine procedural processes.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance the effectiveness of remedial actions.
Leadership and People Management
* Manage and mentor a team of project coordinators and analysts, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
Regulatory compliance
* Ensure all remedial actions comply with regulatory requirements, including Consumer Duty regulations, and internal policies.
* Consumer Duty: Implement and monitor projects that uphold the firm's commitment to consumer duty, ensuring fair treatment of customers and addressing any issues that arise.
* Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify areas requiring remedial action and develop strategies to address these risks.
Person Specification
Essential
* Project Management experience in a firm regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
* In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements, consumer duty standards, Complaint Management and the Financial Ombudsman Service and risk management practices in the financial services sector.
* Recruiting and managing a project team.
* Able to identify their own strengths and weaknesses and surround themselves with team members or colleagues from around the business to ensure the appropriate skills are present to deliver.
* Excellent organisation, prioritisation and delegation skills; ensuring tight deadlines and quality is maintained.
* Identifying innovative solutions to challenging situations.
* Resilient to change, adapting to new situations with confidence where parameters may not always be clear.
* Strong interpersonal skills; building rapport and effective relationships. Well-developed verbal and written communication skills including tact, diplomacy and sensitivity.
Desirable
* Experience in a firm regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, with regards to:
o AML/CTF
o KYC and Customer Due Diligence
* Experience of Payments Infrastructure.
* Compliance background would be an advantage but is not a requirement.
Skills
* M365 Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
* Able to create analytics and reports for senior leadership team.
Education
* Higher education or University Degree.

* Detail-oriented and organized.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Proactive and self-motivated.
Please note: This is a full-time, permanent position based in our Coventry Office with an opportunity to work hybrid.
