Role Overview: As the Sales Manager, you will leverage your sales experience and passion for securing new deals to maximise customer attraction and retention, divisional revenue, and profitability.
Your primary goal will be to grow the Hargreaves customer base by forging long-term relationships with key customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive sales and revenue growth by managing the sale and merchanting of single-size aggregate products.
* Secure large-scale project contracts and develop new business opportunities.
* Maintain strong customer relationships and identify new business opportunities.
* Ensure efficient product distribution to meet client needs.
* Collaborate with internal teams to optimize supply chain operations and ensure product availability.
* Deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
* Expand market share within the construction, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.
Impact and Key Deliverables:
* Lead the development of new and existing business opportunities.
* Efficiently manage commercial, operational, and financial functions.
* Ensure exemplary levels of accuracy, compliance, customer service, and commerciality.
* Increase both existing and new business sales.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for customer-related inquiries.
* Fulfill orders in a timely and efficient manner.
* Resolve customer complaints and escalate when required.
* Prepare presentations, proposals, and sales contracts.
* Travel to customer sites to understand their business needs and provide quotations.
* Represent Hargreaves at customer functions and corporate hospitality events.
* Support the growth of new and existing customer accounts through various commercial administration tasks.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Essential:
* Proven track record in a commercial field-based environment.
* Valid driving license.
Desirable:
* Experience in aggregate sales.
