Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Eng User IT Engineer to join Norfolk and Suffolk Constabulary on an initial 12 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Force’s busy ICT End User Computing team, providing essential IT support across Norfolk and Suffolk. As an End User IT Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of IT services by resolving faults, fulfilling service requests, and supporting office moves and Estates relocation projects. This role requires regular travel across both counties to deliver on-site support and conduct full audits of ICT equipment. Key Responsibilities: Provide on-site IT support to resolve faults and fulfil user requests. Troubleshoot and perform advanced diagnostics on complex hardware and software issues. Support office relocations and Estates projects, ensuring IT equipment is set up efficiently. Conduct full audits of ICT assets to maintain an accurate IT inventory. Work independently and as part of a team to deliver a high standard of service. Maintain and update the ICT Asset Register. Essential Criteria: Qualification in an ICT discipline or equivalent experience in an IT operational environment. Proven experience working within a Microsoft Windows environment. Strong ability to diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues. Experience working effectively in a team, as well as independently when required. Knowledge and experience in maintaining an ICT Asset Register. Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach. Full UK driving licence (Category B) with the ability to travel across Norfolk and Suffolk and drive Constabulary vehicles
