Role: Occupational Health Physician (MFOM)
Location: Sheffield (Hybrid opportunities)
Hours: Part time (3 days - 22.5 hours) - (phone number removed)pm
Salary: £170k
My client are looking for a highly skilled OH Physician to join their clinical team in the Sheffield area. This role will see you working from the main site, with occasional work from home opportunities, and some requirement to visit client sites within South Yorkshire also.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct pre-employment medical assessments for staff with complex health conditions, ensuring they meet required medical fitness standards.
• Perform medical evaluations on key staff members with higher risk positions within the team, evaluating their suitability
• Provide clinical support and expert guidance to the Occupational Health team on complex medical cases.
• Assist in attendance management, providing professional opinions on fitness for work and advising on reasonable adjustments.
• Evaluate cases for ill-health retirement
• Offer medical advice on health surveillance programs, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Support the OH Clinical Governance Manager in policy development concerning blood-borne viruses, environmental chemicals, and infectious agents.
• Act as authorising physician for OH policies and processes, ensuring alignment with best practice and evidence-based guidelines.
Skills & Experience:
• MFOM or FFOM essential
• Extensive experience as a Consultant OH Physician/Accredited specialist
• Previous experience in the public sector is ideal
• Strong understanding of clinical governance, policy development, and team collaboration.
