Our client, a leading international business is looking to recruit an experienced Project Accountant to cover a period of Maternity leave, of likely 12-14 months. Hybrid working is on offer as well as a very competitive remuneration package.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee financial management activities for assigned projects, including budget tracking and forecasting.
* Prepare and review financial statements to ensure compliance with financial accounting standards.
* Provide mentorship and support to junior staff members in financial reporting and project accounting practices.
* Collaborate with project managers to ensure alignment of financial goals with project objectives.
* Conduct regular audits of project accounts to identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures.
* Assist in the preparation of financial documentation for audits and regulatory compliance.
