Our client, a leading international business is looking to recruit an experienced Project Accountant to cover a period of Maternity leave, of likely 12-14 months. Hybrid working is on offer as well as a very competitive remuneration package. Responsibilities: Oversee financial management activities for assigned projects, including budget tracking and forecasting. Prepare and review financial statements to ensure compliance with financial accounting standards. Provide mentorship and support to junior staff members in financial reporting and project accounting practices. Collaborate with project managers to ensure alignment of financial goals with project objectives. Conduct regular audits of project accounts to identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures. Assist in the preparation of financial documentation for audits and regulatory compliance.
