Start state: As soon as possible Salary: Negotiable Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day operational functions including Finance, HR, Facilities Management, Health and Safety, Marketing and IT Work closely with the Principal and Board of Trustees to implement the school's strategic plan Lead the development and execution of projects related to school development, facilities upgrades and future growth Manage the school's budget to ensure financial health and sustainability, including procurement, to ensure best value for money on all services, suppliers and products Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, promoting a safe and thriving environment for students and staff The successful applicant will bring their undoubted experience of working as a bursar or school business manager to help guide the senior leadership team into the future. You will be highly motivated, credible and be able to demonstrate the commercial experience to lead and drive improvements within the business functions of the school. It is important to have the ability to work well as part of a team but have the confidence and skill set to work independently. You will be an effective communicator and experienced line manager, being able to mentor and develop teams. You will have experience of driving and deliver improvement across strategic and operational aspects of school business.
