My client, a HR and Payroll technology company who operate globally across multiple regions including UK, Ireland, Sweden, Netherlands, and the US are looking to hire a Data Analyst for the FP&A team.
Reporting to the FP&A Director, this role will support the UK, Ireland and Sweden organisation in delivering analytical information whilst making data more accessible.
Your analytical skills will help them uncover insights that drive business improvements and strategic initiatives.
This is a hybrid role with three days in the office in Staines.
Key Responsibilities
* Create, maintain and improve Power BI dashboards for Revenue, Expenses, Headcount, and other operational metrics.
* Provide analytical insights related to clients, including client industry trends, size, product utilisation, and payslip volumes.
* Extract, cleanse, and combine information from multiple data sets.
* Drive upstream process improvements that result in more accurate reporting.
* Train individuals on how to effectively use workbooks, reports, and dashboards.
* Use tools and techniques to visualize data in easy-to-understand formats.
* Continuously monitor data quality.
* Engage with other departments to develop a deep understanding of their functions and available reporting.
* Support the preparation of the monthly leadership dashboard reporting, covering financial and operational performance.
* Provide general analytical support to the Finance team & business.
Requirements
* Degree educated.
* Power BI developer experience is a requirement.
* Experience of financial systems such as Oracle (preferable) or SAP.
* Advanced Excel experience.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
