Location: Office Base is UK. The role looks after a team of 4 people based in locations across England. This is a hybrid role and the successful candidate will balance office working with home working.

Job Introduction
Working as part of a Business team you will lead the Senior Leader Business Support team; this includes the line management, output and development of your team. Working with the Business Partner you will offer support to the Directors, Controller and Senior Heads of Content Production across BBC Local and Business & Operations.
Main Responsibilities
* Reporting to the Business Partner (BBC Local) you will be responsible for the delivery of a comprehensive Senior Leader Business Support model and activity in BBC Local and Business & Operations.
* This includes line management, compiling board papers, data analytics and presentation, project support, calendar, diary and Inbox management and all associated administrative tasks in the coordination of business activity.
* You will manage internal and external stakeholders as required.
* You will ensure that all policy, workflow and process is compliant with legislation and BBC Policy.
* You will organise your team to provide cover for absence across the Senior Leader Business Support team.
* You will line manage your team members and champion their development.
* You will lead and contribute to a variety of projects to deliver against agreed timelines.
Are you the right candidate?
* Working towards or obtained a relevant management or business qualification to NVQ Level 4/BTEC/HNC level, or equivalent work-based experience.
* Experience of providing the business with administration and management assistance to an environment of similar complexity.
* Demonstrable experience of maintaining constructive relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
* Experience of team leadership or supervision of others.
* Project management skills with an ability to improve organisational effectiveness and support a culture of continuous improvement.
* Strong computer skills with strong experience of office software packages (i.e. Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
* Ability to work with limited supervision, using own initiative to resolve most problems.
