Senior Bid Manager
Location: Southampton
Overview:
As the Senior Bid Manager, you will act as the lead for the project/bid team, ensuring that the bid is prepared in accordance with an agreed timetable and that it is complete and addressed in the Contractor's Proposals. You will be responsible for managing the whole process and ensuring that you are regularly and effectively communicating with both the client and customers.
Your day to day will include:
* Assembling a bid team with the relevant knowledge and skills to prepare a winning bid.
* Following the agreed bid management procedures and ensuring they are implemented at each stage of the bid process.
* Chairing Bid Kick-off meetings, solution development, and mid-bid meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
* Developing a tender period programme, communicating actions to the team, and monitoring progress.
* Attending feedback sessions with the client and coordinating tender queries and amendments.
