Job Description
• Willing to work various shifts and adapt to work hour changes to meet customer needs.
• Must perform failure analysis, maintenance, repair and refurbishment of tactical vehicle assemblies and subassemblies.
• Must have at least 3 years actual and recent experience in repairing and maintaining automotive, heavy-duty trucks, tractors, or tactical vehicles.
• Technical certificate/degree in Diesel Mechanics, Electro-Mechanical engineering, etc.
• Strong mechanical and electrical systems aptitude.
• Experience in troubleshooting mechanical/electrical equipment.
• Knowledge of standard materials, tools and equipment and skill in the use and care of tools.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly cycles.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
• Repair fuel systems, electrical systems, diesel engines, cooling systems, transmissions, brake systems, steering systems, hydraulic systems, and auxiliary drives.
• Conduct assembly and subassembly tests to verify compliance with the specific work instructions and provide correct functionality.
• Operates shop equipment, compressors, presses, grinders, and heavy hand tools.
