Job Description
1. Oversee site based accounting of multiple sites for a particular brand/s within this business.
2. Prepare and present multiple and consolidated management accounts to the management team.
3. Implement effective strategies to enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
4. Ensure strong commercial relationships are developed with key stakeholders at each site.
5. Monitor and manage budgets ensuring budget holders are aware of where they stand and how to make necessary cost reductions or contribute towards greater profit/sales.
6. Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
7. Mentor and guide team members to ensure efficiency and productivity.
8. Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Commercial Accountant should have:
1. Either practice or industry experience.
2. Professional certification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA).
3. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills.
5. Excellent analytical and strategic planning abilities.
6. Adept communication and presentation skills.
7. A solid understanding of financial laws and regulations within the retail industry.
