Job Title: Chef de Partie – Radley College
SUMMARY
We are seeking talented and motivated Chef de Partie professionals to join the catering team at Radley College, a prestigious boarding school. This is an exciting opportunity for two full-time, 52-week contracts with competitive salary and excellent benefits.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in volume catering, with the ability to balance efficiency and creativity. A flair for hospitality and willingness to develop this aspect of culinary skill set is also required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to the preparation of approximately 2,500 meals per day, ensuring speed, efficiency, and quality in a volume catering environment.
* Support the delivery of high-quality hospitality for events and functions at the College.
* Work collaboratively within a team of 14 chefs, reporting to senior members such as the Executive Chef, Head Chef, and Sous Chefs.

Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a high-volume catering environment.
* Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen equipment, and best practices in hygiene and safety.
* Creativity and flair for producing high-quality dishes, with the ability to adapt to both large-scale catering and hospitality needs.
* Excellent time management and organizational skills to thrive in a busy kitchen.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
* A relevant culinary qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3) is preferred but not essential if supported by strong experience.
* Flexibility to work a 5/7 shift pattern and reliable transportation due to location.
