About the role:
They are looking for a Social Value Officer to join their team. In this role, you will:
* Lead and manage the development and delivery of the company’s social value strategy across multiple construction projects.
* Engage with local communities, stakeholders, and partners to ensure the social value initiatives align with project objectives and local needs.
* Promote and implement sustainable practices and initiatives throughout the construction lifecycle, focusing on local employment, training, and environmental impact.
* Monitor and report on the outcomes of social value activities, ensuring that key performance indicators (KPIs) are met.
* Support the bid team in developing social value proposals to win new projects, ensuring social impact considerations are integrated into tender submissions.
* Build strong relationships with local charities, schools, training providers, and community groups to facilitate collaboration and partnerships.
* Raise awareness of social value within the company, promoting best practices across teams and projects..
About the benefits and rewards:

About the requirements:
* Experience in a social value, CSR, or sustainability role, ideally within the construction or built environment sector.
* Knowledge of the Social Value Act and best practices for embedding social value in construction projects.
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build relationships with a variety of audiences.
* A proactive, solution-focused approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
* An understanding of how social value impacts long-term project success and community well-being.
* Passion for creating positive social, economic, and environmental change
