Our client, a global management consultancy, is seeking an exceptional office manager with a passion for organisation, administration, efficiency, and people to join their global HQ team in London. The main focus of the role will be ensuring the seamless operation of the office (12 in office). This is a varied and busy role that requires a proactive, solutions-driven approach to office management, team coordination, and executive support.
We are looking for candidates who have previous office support and office management experience, who enjoy working in an administrative capacity and have competent IT skills/CRM/MS Office, etc. You will play a key part in maintaining an efficient and engaging workplace, managing office operations, coordinating key projects, and acting as a trusted partner to leadership. Typical duties include:
1. Oversee daily office operations, ensuring a well-organised and efficient work environment.
2. Support with the setup and troubleshooting of office technology.
3. Act as the first point of contact for visitors and phone calls.
4. Manage office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships.
5. Process invoices, manage accounts payable/receivable, and liaise with finance teams.
6. Credit control.
7. Coordinate and prepare reports and documentation for meetings.
8. Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
9. Plan and execute corporate events, conferences, and team-building activities, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
10. Support with executive projects, keeping track of deadlines, milestones, and deliverables.
11. Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training of new employees.
12. Maintain HR records, policies, and procedures.
