Job summary A unique opportunity has arisen in the Workforce Directorate for a full time Medical Workforce Administrator for a fixed term period of 12 months. Good communication, attention to detail and strong administration skills are essential to this role as are experience of Microsoft Office packages and all aspects of office work. You will be responsible for the delivery of a timely, accurate and high quality customer focused service ensuring safe recruitment practices and medical locum sourcing are maintained and all service requirements are complied with accurately, on time and are delivered in a professional customer focused way. You will need to be motivated, flexible and able to work independently and at times under pressure. Understand the template rota build system and have the ability to build and develop templates in line with resident doctor's terms and conditions. To be aware of NHS Medical staff terms and conditions of employment and to ensure that the working patterns in the system are compliant. To create and send out work schedules to all resident doctors within the required time line. To obtain sign off from the departmental lead for any changes made to the rota template and to raise any variances in hours worked identified by the system To carry out timely and accurate information analysis and reporting and present findings in an agreed manner. To develop and maintain databases required by the job. Ensure all resident doctors have a user account for exception reporting; action the setup of any new accounts and resolve any system queries To be aware of any potential changes to terms and conditions and the impact that may have on the rota's.
