Teaching Personnel is partnering with a school in Bolton that is actively seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support small groups and provide 1:1 assistance to pupils with various Special Educational Needs (SEN) in Year 3. The successful candidate will work in a well-rated school that focuses on enabling students of all abilities to grow spiritually, physically, socially, and intellectually. This is a full-time role (8:30 am - 3:30 pm), starting as soon as possible.
The Role:
* Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning and development.
* Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored educational activities.
* Provide one-to-one support to students with SEN, helping them achieve their learning goals.
* Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment for all students.
* Help implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with SEN.
* Collaborate with colleagues and other professionals to support the holistic development of students.
Required Qualifications:
* Minimum GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
* Relevant experience working with individuals with SEN.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Level 2 Safeguarding Course (training can be provided if needed).
