Are you a friendly and nurturing Teaching Assistant in the Kirklees area?
We have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Teaching Assistant to join the Year 1 classroom at one of our partnership Primary Schools in the Batley area. You will become part of a supportive staff team, enabling all pupils within your care to thrive and enjoy learning across all subjects from February half term onwards. The role will initially be on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave but has the potential to become permanent for the right applicant. The Primary School is proud to offer a multi-cultural place of learning, that ensures children are at the heart of their inclusive and diverse community. The school curriculum is centred around the core values of respect, perseverance, pride, and independence. You will work in partnership with the existing staff team, inspiring pupils to become curious, inquisitive individuals with a passion for lifelong learning.
You can expect to earn up to £100 per day for this role; salary is negotiable depending on experience.
We are seeking an applicant with:
* A full and relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
* Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for supporting pupil progression.
* Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum.
* An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us.
* Right to Work in the UK; unfortunately, we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship.
