Support Workers – Horsham (Residential SEN Setting, Autism Support)
Full-Time | Permanent after Probation | Shift Patterns Available
We are recruiting full-time Support Workers to work within a school’s residential setting in Horsham, providing consistent care and educational support for children and young people on the autism spectrum.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting pupils with personal care, daily living skills, and community access
* Promoting independence, self-confidence, and social communication
* Working as part of a team to deliver tailored education and care plans
* Managing challenging behaviour in a safe, supportive manner
Requirements:
* Previous experience supporting individuals with autism or learning disabilities (preferred but not essential)
* Compassionate, patient, and committed to safeguarding children
* Ability to work flexible shifts (days, evenings, and some weekends)
* NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it) is desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
