Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Store Manager to lead our retail team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving sales performance, and ensuring that the store meets its operational goals. This role requires a proactive approach to managing staff, inventory, and customer relations while fostering a positive shopping environment.
Responsibilities
* Oversee all aspects of store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and team management.
* Supervise and manage daily store operations to ensure smooth functioning.
* Train, lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer service through effective team management and leadership.
* Drive sales performance by implementing strategic sales initiatives and promotional activities.
* Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as health and safety regulations.
* Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll management, and inventory control.
* Conduct regular store audits to ensure visual merchandising standards are met.
* Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
* Prepare reports on store performance and present findings to senior management.
Entry Requirements
* Minimum 2 years of retail management experience is desirable but not necessary.
* Must have Maths Pass at GCSE or equivalent level, Advance Level Maths or Business Qualifications are desirable.
* Proficient in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and other retail software
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
* Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and develop team members.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and staff alike.
* All required training will be provided.
