Role: Hotel Assistant Maintenance Manager
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £30-33,000 per year
Working with a modern, 4-star hotel from a recognised brand recruiting for an experienced Assistant Maintenance Manager to be responsible for the general day-to-day maintenance as well as some statutory compliance.
A great personality is key for this role with a warmth and ability to build rapport quickly with staff and guests.
This leading 4-star hotel situated in a prime location is looking for someone with experience of one of these skills:
Carpentry
Painting and Decorating
Plumbing
Electrician
Requirements of the Role
You must possess a practical working knowledge of all aspects of hotel maintenance, health & safety and fire regulations ideally within a hotel property.
A strong all-rounder with excellent interpersonal skills
Must be able to work a variety of shifts, 40 hours 5 days out of 7 including call-outs.
A recognised time-served trade qualification in plumbing or electrics would be an advantage but not essential.
Must be highly organised and be a very hands-on person & well versed in working on their own as well as in a team.
