The Role
The role will support maturation of program capabilities, regulatory inquiries, internal audits and oversight of business control activity. Accountabilities include but are not limited to:
1. Managing risk-mitigating activities within the programs
2. Leading and/or supporting high-priority efforts, including issue remediation, strategic initiatives and process enhancements
3. Coordinating and leading regulatory inquiries, audits, exams and providing response guidance to Front Line Units (FLU), Control Functions (CF) and Entity partners
4. Engaging with business partners and senior leaders in both US and international locations to represent programs and corresponding requirements
5. Understanding regulatory and internal issues management protocols and processes
6. Identifying emerging issues and proactively managing functional and internal timelines, as well as risks, issues and dependencies
7. Maintaining effective reporting and communication routines to achieve understanding of oversight activities
8. Executing policy and standard adherence activities and oversight routines, including assessment of laws, rules, and regulations

What we are looking for
1. Good track record of relevant work experience in business controls, governance and/or risk management.
2. Ability to be flexible in support of the maturing organization with an enterprise scope and mandate.
3. Highly organized with the ability to prioritize competing demands, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
4. Ability to appropriately influence key stakeholders and partners, and effectively challenge when necessary.
5. Strong business centric mindset with ability to utilize sound business judgment and tailor approach to drive optimal business outcomes.
6. Effectively communicate to inform, influence, and resolve key issues in a timely manner with all levels of the organization.
7. Work experience in exam and/or regulatory management.
8. Understanding of outsourcing (third party/inter-affiliate) requirements, including contracts, services, and change management.
9. Understanding of Inter-affiliate Service relationships between legal entities of the Company.
10. Understanding of enterprise lines of business, legal entities, and global operations.
11. Familiarity with the Enterprise Services Taxonomy.
