Designer required to work for an industry leading company that specialise within the architectural glass, glazing, fire rated products and glass partitioning sector. They work on exciting projects throughout the UK and require a Designer to join their design department in Burgess Hill.
The most successful Designer will have a background working within the construction industry previously. It would be advantageous if the Designer has completed 2D and 3D drawings within the commercial interiors, architectural glazing or partitioning sector previously. You will liaise with other member within the design department to complete exciting 2D & 3D designs for projects nationwide.

Designer Position Overview
9. To use specialist computer software (AutoCAD, Revit) to produce plans, technical drawings for fabrication, modelling a range of products and components (2D and 3D) for the project.
10. Responsible for the production and management of design and technical documentation for commercial architectural glazing projects from project award to final account
11. Independently work and manage timescales again project programmes
12. Produce plans and technical drawings for projects
13. Develop knowledge of the industry
14. Work on exciting commercial architectural glazing and partitioning projects
15. Maintain CAD blocks and standard details
16. Liaise with other Designers
17. Make changes to exiting designs
Designer Position Requirements
18. Minimum of 3 years' experience working in a design role within a commercial architectural or glazed partitioning environment.
19. Excellent knowledge of design software including AutoCAD and Revit (BIM).
20. Previous experience of working with architects plans and drawings as well as manufacturing details and requisitions.
21. Understanding of setting out from datums and gridlines.
22. Soliworks experience would be beneficial

25. Ability to travel to Burgess Hill
