Due to one of our long-standing vets relocating, a rare opportunity has arisen for a small animal vet to join our team. We are a well-established clinic based in the Essex countryside with a wide and varied caseload including charity work, providing an opportunity to work up cases in-house.
The job will consist of a mixture of consults and surgery. We are happy to accommodate bias or interests.
Flexible work patterns for your best life balance. Our people are at the heart of everything that we do, and we know that work-life balance is vital in supporting our people to be their best selves. Our flexible approach to rota patterns and working hours offers a balance that truly flexes with you and your lifestyle no matter what stage you are in your career.
We work 40 hours over a 4-day week with Saturday mornings shared on a 1 in 5 rota, with no OOH as this is through Vets Now.
About Our Team
You will be joining a 4 vet team with high levels of experience, all of which have been with our clinic for a significant period of time. Our vets are supported by 6 RVNs, 2 Kennel Assistants, and a dedicated reception team. The ideal candidate will have patient and client care at the forefront of their work and be keen to work well within a close-knit team. We pride ourselves on a supportive and collaborative way of working, utilising individual strengths within the team. There is the opportunity for candidates to explore their particular areas of interest and grow professionally amongst an experienced vet team.
