The main purpose of our Lacquer Team is to prepare and issue coatings materials to line. To provide specialist technical support to the line operators to ensure a high-quality product is produced at maximum efficiency.
Our team prioritizes health, safety, environmental, and quality, and we expect our team members to follow our EHS and BRC compliance at all times.
Our lacquer team members are required to assist the operators in setting up, running, and cleaning the washing and spraying units, the external coatings units, and the ovens for our manufacturing process.
This includes quality and usage monitoring, troubleshooting on-line issues, recommending preventative measures, and carrying out continuous improvement projects.
You will be expected to carry out general maintenance of the lacquer machines, maintain spare parts, change parts in good order, prepare and issue coatings materials to line, and ensure the removal of all waste.
You will maintain accurate records, ensure high housekeeping standards, and carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by Management.
This role involves working a rotating shift pattern which includes days, nights, and weekends. The hours are 6am - 6pm and 6pm - 6am, with a rotation of 4 weeks on days and 4 weeks on nights.
The work week is as follows:
1. Week 1 - Mon / Tues / Fri / Sat / Sun
2. Week 2 - Wed / Thurs
