For 30 years we’ve been independently developing and publishing incredible video games at our multiple studios founded by Jason & Chris Kingsley, but Rebellion is more than just games. We have our own film studio, we create board games, publish books, and through 2000AD, publish comics and graphic novels such as the amazing Judge Dredd.
The Rebellion E-Commerce team is at the forefront of our business, orchestrating a dynamic array of activities that encompass product management, sales, category selection, captivating designs, exciting promotions, marketing strategies, and enticing bundles. Our efforts span a diverse selection of both physical and digital products, amplifying brand awareness through exclusive limited editions and unique offerings that can only be found in the Rebellion Store. We are dedicated to creating demand while consistently boosting traffic and revenue through strategic, measurable initiatives!
This role is based at our riverside headquarters in Oxford, offering a creative and relaxed atmosphere where teamwork drives our success.
What You'll Do:
* Product Management: Assist in the selection, design, and category management of all Rebellion franchises available through the online store.
* Marketing Campaigns: Support the creation of marketing, public relations, and retail materials, and collaborate with external media agencies on search engine optimization (SEO), search engine advertising (SEA) strategies, and customer acquisition efforts.
* E-commerce Analysis: Develop insights into Rebellion’s e-commerce strategy and business plans by analyzing performance dashboards and offering actionable recommendations to the commercial team.
* Consumer Insights & Research: Perform market research to assess product performance, detect trends, and ensure competitive pricing and quality standards.
* Partner Collaboration: Collaborate with licensed partners to enhance their marketing investments and support integrated marketing campaigns that generate high-value traffic.
* Promotional Campaigns: Engage in brand-specific and cross-brand promotional initiatives to enhance product visibility and drive sales.
* Product Curation: Analyze product performance to inform decisions regarding the retirement, promotion, or commissioning of products based on market demand and performance metrics.
* Service Development: Aid in the implementation of new service recommendations and investigate potential opportunities for new product lines.

* Market Research: Conducting research to ensure Rebellion products align with current market trends and consumer preferences.
Requirements
* Internships are exclusively accessible to undergraduate students from Wadham and St John's Colleges at Oxford University.
* Availability for attendance from June 30, 2025, to August 29, 2025.
* A sincere enthusiasm for the gaming, film, publishing, digital marketing, or e-commerce industries is essential.
* Prior experience in marketing, retail, or product management is beneficial, though not mandatory.
* Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, SEO/SEA tools, and e-commerce platforms is desirable.
