Video Editor and Motion Designer - Midweight (Leicester or London) Job Description We're on the lookout for a video editor to join our team and help us dazzle the digital world with our expanding portfolio brands. * Become the go-to for video needs for our growing list of Home Brands
* Craft visually stunning videos that tell our brand stories in a way that captivates and engages. You’ll play a key role at every stage of the design process, from initial concept to execution
* Collaborate with our teams to bring ideas to life in the form of videos
* Dive into After Effects / Cinema 4D / Premiere like a pro, creating eye-catching animations and seamless edits that make jaws drop
* Designing for a diverse range of business areas, from in-store video-screens to social media, broadcast advertising and internal or external communications
* Knowledge in all things video – from colour grading to sound mixing, you’ve got an understanding across the production line
* Filming for a variety of needs across the business including both external and internal campaigns
About you:
* You’ll have previous experience in a similar role with an impressive portfolio to show for it
* Excellent skills in Cinema 4D - Redshift experience is beneficial
* Excellent skills in Adobe After Effects with a strong understanding of media encoder to export your animations and videos
* Proficient in Adobe Premiere, with the ability to create/edit and reformat video content for different media outputs
* An outstanding portfolio of exceptional creative and commercially focussed animations/videos to showcase to us (please include your showreel in your application)
* A strong interest in fashion and retail, and a clear understanding of how to deliver the most compelling designs for our customers
* You’ll have exceptional skills in Illustrator and Photoshop and the ability to prepare artwork and photography for animating
* Ability to work extremely well with other members of the studio and key project stakeholders, ensuring all work actively reflects and enhances the Next brand and the brands you’ll work with
* Creative flair that turns ordinary footage into extraordinary content
* Ability to work at speed and meet tight deadlines)
