As a Conference and Banqueting Manager you will be responsible for the profitable and efficient running of hospitality events here at the resort. You will possess and demonstrate great customer skills and contribute to a fantastic corporate/guest experience. You will also be responsible for training and developing your team. What will I be doing? As C&B Manager here at the Mole you will be responsible for organising and delivering high quality events to our corporate and leisure guests, covering all tasks relating to guests, team and interactions with other departments. To ensure the teams provide a professional service and deliver a seamless, safe and memorable experience to all our guests. Your specific responsibilities will include. · Review and maintain highest standards of event operation and service. · Organise, plan and deliver an exceptional conference and event service. · Ensure the department is well organised, tidy and equipment maintained, reporting any hazards, accidents and/or maintenance issues. · Lead the team in conference and events, providing clear guidance and support.. Manage and maintain budgetary requirements with regard to cost and payroll. · Ensure team always complies with Health & Safety standards. · Deliver and exceed guest expectations. · Lead the team to up sell hotel services and promotions. · Manage team development and performance using standard management tools. Inspire and motivate the team to help create an environment that promotes employee morale and encourages effective teamwork. · Perform a management role in emergency situations as assigned by line manager and/or H&S Manager. · Assist other departments as and when necessary, supporting the commercial team when promoting the business. · Communicate effectively with other departments. · Be aware and proactive with regard to the financial performance of the department ie budgets, payroll etc. What are we looking for?
