Bid Reviewer
GovData are recruiting a professional Bid Reviewer to complete tender submissions in partnership with our Clients.
Responsibilities include Framework Intelligence Gathering, the creation of Framework Profiles, drafting and reviewing Client content in line with all necessary bid procedures, governance, and processes as well as completing all mandatory submission documentation such as Selection Questionnaires. This is a role that requires the ability to work under pressure and to meet challenging deadlines. It requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
You will complete Bid Submissions in response to customer engagements necessitating the successful listing of a client onto Public Sector Frameworks, as well as specific open tender responses. As Bid Reviewer, you will work closely with the Client Support Executives and our Clients, providing advice and guidance to aid in their understanding of Framework Specifications and requirements. You will support the team and ensure we have the relevant service/product/business information needed to prepare a winning bid, whilst taking ownership of content and document reviews.
Applicants must have excellent communication skills, especially written English grammar, spelling & vocabulary, combined with the ability to understand technical concepts and tender questions, then provide clear, concise responses whilst working to tight deadlines and challenging KPI’s. Strong Microsoft Office skills are essential.

Salary - 25-30K, experience dependent
Key activities include:
* Assisting in breaking down and analysing Invitations to Tender & Bid Packs to identify all mandatory requirements
* Working closely with our Clients to ensure all required information obtained and presented is of the required standard
* Researching, editing, and completing tender submissions
* Identifying and mitigating any flaws in content at the first stage of review and developing this into a logical, narrative structure
* Collating materials provided to ensure a uniform tone across the documentation
* Review and revise documents prepared by the clients and coordinate the preparation of those materials in a completed Bid Submission, taking into account the evaluation criteria
* Drafting and creating Client Feedback within 48 hours of receipt of content, to ensure success
* Creating high-quality submission content covering all mandatory standards, requirements, and word count limitations
Qualifications/Skills
* Degree-level educated in English, Science, Business/Management/PGCE or other relevant discipline
* APMP Foundation would be advantageous
* Self-starter, with an ability to prioritise work streams and multitask
* Competent with the use of computers and MS Office/CRM systems
* Team and action oriented; proactive in prioritising own workload
* Excellent communicator, highly organised, with an ability to use your initiative and work to strict deadlines
* Sound commercial understanding and knowledge of business principles, with an ability to think outside the box
* Experience as a Bid or Technical Writer would be advantageous
* Experience as an assessor, exam marker or adjudicator useful skills transfer
* Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and strong time management
* Previous experience with Public Sector Contracts is an advantage
