Werneth Medical Practice is seeking a productive and proactive Medical Receptionist/Administrator for their purpose-built practice in Oldham.
We are looking for someone who is flexible, has good communication skills, and uses their own initiative.
Main Duties of the Job:
You will be responsible for:
* Ensure smooth running of the reception area
* Greet all visitors and be the first point of contact for any queries
* Manage all inbound communications by phone
* Diary management for any patient bookings
* Upload patient records into the database
* Registering new patients and completing necessary administrative tasks
* Action requests for information to be sent/retrieved for doctors, nurses, or other clinicians, and to process prescriptions in line with policy
* Ensure premises are kept clean and tidy in between visits from the cleaning staff
* Daily checks to ensure we are compliant with CQC
Role Requirements:
* Experience working as a receptionist in a medical practice (preferred)
* Excellent phone manner/customer service skills
* Excellent patient relationship skills and the ability to be calm under pressure
* Effective communication and time management skills
* Proficient in IT
* Secretary experience (preferred)
* Used Emis and Docman 10 (preferred)
* Training & supervision will be provided for the right individual
