Responsibilities
* Prepare monthly management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet, cash flow) and reconciliations.
* Manage & mentor Finance Team (currently 4), and guide them, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
* Review & approve entries posted into NetSuite.
* Finance liaison to key business stakeholders, across various levels of management, including pre-close activities to ensure a smooth close cycle, and providing finance operational support such as reviewing purchase orders, and ensuring proper receiving and accruals.
* Manage the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in accordance with month end timetable.
* Participate in close-the-books process improvement and system optimization projects.
* Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure the business meets its operational needs, preparation of supplier/expense runs.
* Drive the continuous improvement approach across the full range of finance processes and capabilities.
* Collaborate with Payroll and HR teams, as well as external payroll providers, to ensure finance payroll activities align with monthly timelines.
* Ensuring balance sheet is fully reconciled and reconciliations are presented monthly for review.
* Assist Director Of Finance with ad-hoc projects.
Requirements
* Previous Experience in preparation of Statutory Accounts
* Preparing and reviewing financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
* Team orientated, a “can do” attitude and flexible approach
* Experience of managing the Year End Audit process.

* Possess experience in delivering high-level, forward thinking commercial analysis and driving business outcomes
* Strong working knowledge of accounting and finance operations.
* Knowledge of NetSuite desirable;
* Possess strong Excel and IT systems skills;
* Excellent communication skills.
* Demonstrate ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
* Hands on pro-active approach with an ability to work well autonomously.
