An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Registered Mental Health Nurse to work in an exceptional specialist residential service based in the Stroud, Gloucestershire area. You will be working for one of UK's leading healthcare providers.
This is a specialist residential service providing medium to long-term support and treatment for young people and young adults (aged 16-25) suffering from eating disorders and other associated complex mental health difficulties.
To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
Key Duties:
1. Working within a team.
2. Assisting and supporting staff in the management of the eating disorders and other complex mental health needs.
3. Making an effective contribution to providing high quality care to all patients.
4. Being responsible for undertaking and managing patient care.
5. The delivery of care (both individual and group sessions).
6. Participating in patient assessments, planning and evaluation.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
1. Knowledge of the Mental Health Act.
2. Patient centric & commitment to delivering high quality care.
3. Fine tuned decision making skills.
4. Excellent organisational capability.
5. Effective communication skills.
6. Flexibility and a strong "can do" attitude.
