Springwood is a large primary age Special School (360 pupils aged 5 11) based over four sites, which caters for pupils with moderate, severe and complex needs. Springwood is now part of the Link Education Trust.
At Springwood Primary School we are constantly striving to create the best learning opportunities for every pupil. We aim to provide a specialist, high quality, relevant and balanced education for pupils with SEND aged 5 -11.
The successful candidate needs to be confident working across a range of ability levels and age groups as they will be teaching pupils who have a range of complex learning needs. This is an exciting opportunity to join a large energetic school and be part of its future developments.
We are looking for a candidate who:-
* can show excellent teaching skills with different age groups;
* creates a stimulating organised and interactive learning environment that encourages each child to learn;
* is able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of a wide range of additional needs including complex medical needs;
* support the values and ethos of the school;
* can develop positive working relationships with parents, carers and professionals.
