Serve Talent have partnered with one of Norfolk’s most highly regarded expert engineering teams and they’re looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their flourishing team. Working on an extensive range of commercial products, their next Electrical Design Engineer will be fully immersed in the Design process and will also have the opportunity to get hands on with their products. Getting the team involved is something that is key to their production process.
So, this is what will be expected of you as an Electrical Design Engineer:
1. Passion for Electrical Engineering – HNC/ HND or degree in Electrical engineering. C&G NVQ 3 Electrical + electronics Installation to IET BS 7671 18th Edition.
2. Highly motivated and confident with a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical engineering principles. Competent in all technical aspects of electrical system design and development. Diligent with an attention to detail, with a flexible approach to delivering solutions to electrical engineering, wiring and technical problems.
3. Experience of programming PLCs would be an advantage along with knowledge of WS CAD. Hands-on management style.
4. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships within the business at all levels. You will be required to provide electrical engineering input and contribution at senior management level.
5. Flexible for periodic UK and international travel and work away from home as required. A full driving licence is necessary.
