Job Description
Bosch Engineering is a leading provider of calibration for a variety of niche gasoline & hybrid powered automotive customers. Within the UK, we offer support in all stages of vehicle development within EMS and ESP systems. This ranges from in-vehicle & desktop calibration of advanced management systems for active safety (ESP, ABS, TCS) and engine management (emissions, performance & fuel economy).
Being based at the MIRA Technology Park in Warwickshire, our engineering students support across all departments and play a valuable & integral part in day to day work.
Daily Activities Include:
1. Supporting engineers in various stages of software & calibration development
2. Support of calibration data gathering & analysis (Emissions, in-vehicle, and application testing)
3. Customer interaction & support
4. Basic mechanical tasks & vehicle maintenance
5. Preparing vehicle for testing
6. Creation of data analysis tools
7. Support and creation of initial calibration strategies
Qualifications
Essential Skills:
* Degree level: Engineering student or similar
* Excellent communication: & intercultural skills
* Fundamental understanding: of internal combustion engines & vehicle systems
* Full driving license
* Keen interest: in the automotive industry
* Fluent in English
Desired Skills:
* MATLAB / coding experience
* Confident in taking an active and creative approach
* Previous working experience
* Proficient in MS Office applications
Additional Information
This is a 12-month internship beginning in June or July 2025. This position is open to undergraduates or Masters students who are required to partake in a work placement as part of their course.
Location: you will be based at our Mira Nuneaton site.
