Consilium Recruit is exclusively partnering a leading engineering and manufacturing company to manage their recruitment of a new vacancy for an Operations Manager. You will take responsibility for site operations and candidates are sought with excellent leadership skills who have experience working in an industrial environment.
The Role
Work as part of the senior management team to ensure operations are achieved in line with customer specifications.
Define the site strategy including resources, tools, plant, and equipment necessary.
Identify and deploy the technical skill sets, resource levels and systems to deliver projects.
Ensure that agreed customer delivery times are achieved and that customers receive a high standard of service at all times.
Ensure that the business operates in accordance with all health, safety and environmental policies.
Identify, create and develop improved processes.
Manage and lead the team and create a positive culture and atmosphere.
Identify and complete training and development needs to achieve greater flexibility and improve skill sets.
Ensure a robust and frequent method of communication internally and externally with clear tasks and action plans understood by the team.
Work with Directors to ensure resources required are available to support all activities.
