Aspire People are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Performing Arts Teaching Assistant to join a wonderful secondary school in Merton.
As a Performing Arts Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside experienced teaching staff to support students in developing their skills in music, dance and/or drama. You will play a key role in the classroom, helping with practical lessons, supporting individual students, and assisting with productions and performances.

Performing Arts Teaching Assistant - responsibilities:
* Assist in delivering engaging and creative performing arts lessons.
* Provide one-on-one support to students with diverse learning needs.
* Help prepare resources and set up for performances and rehearsals.
* Supervise students during practical activities and performances.
* Support students in their creative development and performance techniques.
* Assist with administrative tasks related to the performing arts department.
Performing Arts Teaching Assistant - requirements:
* A recent relevant degree from a top UK university.
* A passion for the performing arts, with a particular interest in drama, dance, and/or music.
* Previous experience working with young people, ideally in a school or educational setting.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and support students.
* Enthusiastic, reliable, and motivated to work as part of a team.
* A commitment to promoting creativity, self-expression, and artistic development.
* Interest in pursuing teacher training.
