Opportunity
We are looking for a driven and ambitious Senior Business Development Manager to join our expanding Telecom division. This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in acquiring new business, developing strong client relationships, and delivering bespoke telecom solutions. You will leverage your expertise in solution-based selling to demonstrate the value of Simplicity Group’s Hosted and On-Premise Telephony, Data Connectivity, and Mobile solutions. This role provides an exceptional platform for career progression within a dynamic and supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and target prospective clients, implementing a contact strategy to secure appointments with decision-makers.
* Deliver impactful presentations of Simplicity Group’s telecom solutions through face-to-face meetings, telephone calls, and emails.
* Develop tailored proposals and demonstrate ROI to clients, ensuring solutions align with their business needs.
* Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, utilising Salesforce to track progress and ensure accurate reporting.
* Achieve and exceed sales targets, ensuring profitability and contributing to the growth of the Telecom division.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery and exceptional customer satisfaction.
* Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform sales strategies.
* Provide insightful feedback to the business on customer requirements and market dynamics.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in B2B sales with a proven track record in new business acquisition.
* Experience in telecoms or IT is beneficial but not essential.
* Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, including board directors.
* Highly motivated, results-oriented, and proactive in identifying and pursuing sales opportunities.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
* Demonstrated ability to manage the full sales process, from prospecting to closing.
* Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Proficient in using CRM systems like Salesforce to track and report on sales activity.
