Workday Application Specialist (Learning & Talent or Pay & Benefits System) - Worthing/WFH/Hybrid
£48,000 - £53,000 plus excellent benefits, bonus and career opportunities. Based in Worthing, West Sussex with WFH opportunities, 2 or 3 days per week in the office.
Notes: To be considered for this role, you will have strong experience in Workday as an Application Specialist, with experience in either Learning modules, Workday Talent Management modules, Data analysis and reporting, or learning management systems (LMS), and be an excellent Problem-solver; OR within Workday Payroll modules, ideally UK Payroll, Expenses, Compensation & Benefits, though any Payroll experience should be sufficient.
A leading technology professional services company seeks an experienced Workday Learning and Talent Specialist who will support the design, implementation, and management of talent and learning initiatives within the organization through the Workday platform.
This role will involve analysing learning and development data, creating reports, providing insights, and managing the configuration of Workday Learning and Talent modules to align with the business's learning and talent development strategies.
The specialist will also assist in ensuring that the organization's training programs are effective, compliant, and aligned with employee development objectives.
As part of this Workday Application Specialist role, you will be responsible for Workday Learning and Talent Management, as follows:
1. Configure, manage, and optimise the Workday Learning and Talent modules to support the organisation's learning and development (L&D) and talent management programs.
2. Oversee the administration of the Workday Learning system, including course creation and reporting.
3. Ensure that learning content is aligned with organizational objectives and employee development needs.
4. Support the deployment of performance management programs, talent reviews, and succession planning using Workday tools.
As the Workday Application Specialist you will also be responsible for reporting and data analysis as follows:
1. Analyse data from the Workday Learning and Talent modules to provide insights and recommendations for improving learning effectiveness and talent management strategies.
2. Develop and generate reports on key learning and talent metrics (e.g., course completion rates, skill development, employee performance, training needs analysis) to inform HR and leadership decision-making.
3. Monitor compliance with required training and certifications and provide regular reports to relevant stakeholders.
As the Workday Application Specialist, you will also be responsible for:
1. Learning Program Administration.
2. Employee and Stakeholder Support.
3. Process Improvement and Optimisation.
