* Build and test engines to meet customer requirements.
* Prepare engines for testing, including pre-rigging and instrumentation setup.
* Conduct data measurement, collection, and analysis using test bed controls.
* Ensure the quality of test bed data and support engineers with testing methods and results.
Qualifications:
* Education: City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in automotive mechanics or equivalent.
* Experience:
* 3+ years with diesel/gas engine test programs.
* Mechanical/electrical experience in engines.
* Familiarity with engine test systems and ECU controller software.
* Hands-on experience with instrumentation.
* Basic knowledge of low voltage electrical systems.
Skills Required:
* Ability to follow engineers’ instructions for tests and provide quality data.
* Strong attention to detail and continuous improvement mindset.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Customer-focused, motivated, and able to work independently.
