We are seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive primary school in Bromsgrove. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will support children with a range of additional needs, helping them to engage with the National Curriculum and develop their confidence. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced TA to make a real impact in a rewarding role. As an SEND Teaching Assistant, you will: Work closely with the Class Teacher to support students with SEND, including Autism, ASD, ADHD, Challenging Behaviour, Global Delay, Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) and SEMH. Assist in delivering tailored interventions and learning activities within the primary school setting. Provide one-to-one and small group support to children across Early Years (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2). Encourage positive behaviour and social interaction to enhance students’ learning experiences. Work collaboratively with other staff members to create an inclusive and engaging classroom environment. Monitor and report on student progress to the Class Teacher and SENCO. Required Skills and Experience: Experience working as a SEND Teaching Assistant or TA in a UK primary school. A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent). Knowledge of the National Curriculum and strategies for supporting children with SEND. Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques for students with additional needs. Passionate about working with children and helping them reach their full potential.
