Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the implementation of electrical systems and components. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to accomplish department goals. This is an opportunity for a long-term position and to join a growing company.
Responsibilities
1. Generate construction documents via AutoCAD including electrical site plans, single line diagrams, and detailing.
2. Prepare and procure all appropriate permits for building and construction in appropriate jurisdiction.
3. Review contractor product shop drawings.
4. Respond to contractor requests for information.
5. Conduct field investigations of existing conditions for accurate design implementation as well as during construction to assure product quality.
6. Preparation of project close out and as-built documentation.
7. Research and Development of methods and product types to enhance project delivery model.
8. Development of company engineering standards of design.
9. Prepare product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
10. Maintain product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.
Qualifications
1. 4 years’ experience as an Electrical Engineer (not required but preferred).
2. Minimum BS in electrical engineering from an accredited college or university.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft products, particularly Office (Excel, Word, Email).
4. Skilled in BIM and use of Autodesk products, particularly AutoCAD.
5. Able to utilize Adobe Acrobat software.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
7. Exceptional time management, accountability, and prioritization skills.
8. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to accomplish department goals.
9. Ability to be organized, problem solve, and be solution-oriented.
10. Ability to support a fast paced, demanding work schedule; could include late evenings and/or weekends.
