Role: Operations Coordinator - Permanent
Hours: 35 hours per week – HYBRID (2 days office & 3 days remote)
You’ll be assisting the Operations Manager ensuring the smooth running of our Awarding Body operational processes. You’ll play a supporting role enabling the cost-effective and efficient fulfilment of qualification assessment and awards while maintaining quality assurance, regulatory compliance, security and protection, efficiency, timeliness and improved customer service.
In a typical day, you might:
* Support the Operations Manager in the operations processes in accordance with our regulatory body requirements.
* Contribute to the development of appropriate documentation, policies, marking manuals and processes.
* Liaise with the Operations Manager and the Assessment Leaders to organise examining teams, and record examiner conflict of interest information.
* Liaise with the Assessment Leaders to select sample scripts for standardisation and allocate these to examiners through our online platforms.
* Contribute to the processing and auditing of electronic assessments from students and accredited study centres for the purposes of marking.
* Coordinate and assist in queries raised with regards to online marking by the study centre network through the Partnerships team.
* Provide support in the registration and setup of centres and students and examiners on the online marking software and any current/future CRM systems.
* Assist with assigning of all scripts/assignments to examining teams via the online platform, as well as standardisation meetings to ensure that markers and allocations have been setup as agreed.
* Work with the Operations Manager and the Assessments Leaders to raise purchase orders and process invoices for examiners as and when required.
* Follow guidance to ensure assessments and awarding processes for CIM qualifications are carried out in accordance with internal and regulatory quality procedures.
For this role, you’ll need:
* Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
* Evidence of good time management skills.
* High level experience in using Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* High level of accuracy with work.
* Good organisational skills.
* Knowledge of Awarding Body administration procedures would be ideal.
* Experience of the post-16 education system, international education environment and assessment methodologies would be ideal.
* Experience of working with databases would be ideal.
* Good standard of education with relevant qualifications in Maths and English.
