If you’re an experienced, results driven, Policy Specialist who is passionate about the key issues impacting the business community in the Business West region, AND an excellent communicator, confident in working with a range of business leaders, businesses, stakeholders and policy maker, PLUS able to bring together and summarise complex, emotive and policy led information for the Business West member community, we’d love to hear from you!
The region faces an exciting period, with further devolution sitting alongside a much greater emphasis on local growth plans and a central government agenda focused on unlocking growth and prosperity. This includes addressing the significant challenges that face our region, from poor transport connectivity, unaffordable housing and uneven skills performance.
Our newly created Membership Policy Specialist role will work alongside our respected membership and policy teams to help support and evidence efforts to secure sustainable and inclusive growth and add value to our region and our more detailed work at local level across our region. This will involve drawing on the in-depth expertise and insights within our region and working with key local and national stakeholders to help unlock a positive growth agenda for future jobs, investment and much needed infrastructure, both physical and social.
