Overview:
Fantastic opportunity with a flagship global retail banking organisation to play a key role in overseeing and managing the risks associated with third-party relationships to ensure services are resilient, secure, and compliant with regulatory standards ensuring risks are managed within appetite.
Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of risk professionals, collaborate with various departments, and serve as the primary point of contact for senior leadership on third-party risk issues.
* Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive third-party risk management framework, including policies, procedures, and tools for assessing and monitoring third-party risks.
* Ensure that vendors and partners adhere to the organisation's risk management policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
* Assess, monitor, and mitigate risks across the vendor lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, and termination.
Experience:
* Deep understanding in risk management, with a focus on third-party risk management in the banking or financial services sector.
* Experience in financial services sector risk management methodologies and tools to identify, assess, and manage resilience risks effectively.
* Demonstrate understanding of third-party risk frameworks, including experience in evaluating vendor risks and controls.
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the banking industry relevant to third-party risk such as ISO 22301.
