Job responsibilities This post is based within the National Strategic Clinical Network for Diabetes. The Project Manager will work within the Diabetes network but also across a multi-disciplinary and wide range of stakeholders, sectors and agencies to develop a portfolio and body of work around improving services to meet the needs of people at risk of and who have a diagnosis of Diabetes. The Project Manager will work closely with others across other Strategic Clinical Networks and the wider NHS Wales Executive, to ensure that integrated and consistent approaches are developed across Wales, making the best use of available resource, while operating in compliance with the organisations governance policies and procedures. The Project Manager will apply a strong working insight into sectors and services that support people at risk and with Diabetes across Wales. The role requires an understanding of project management methodologies and techniques, excellent communication, organisation and negotiation skills, the ability to work autonomously and with initiative, with a positive attitude to problem solving.
