An exciting opportunity has arisen, to work as a Band 6 Occupational Therapist in the Children's Occupational Therapy service. The post holder will work as part of a team, to provide a high quality occupational therapy service to children up to 19 years of age with difficulties in play, self-care and/or school occupations due to a variety of conditions. They will plan and provide specialist Occupational Therapy assessment, advice and Intervention for children with functional difficulties, working closely with the multidisciplinary team, school staff and families. They will work autonomously and without direct supervision in a defined clinical area, and will be accountable for their own clinical actions. The post holder will have experience and knowledge of equipment assessment and provision and working in Special School provisions. The post holder will see children in a variety of settings including the Phoenix Children's Resource Centre, children's homes, special school provisions, mainstream schools and nurseries.
