Job description Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support and service to our clients in the field. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of our products and systems, while also fostering strong relationships with customers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving abilities and technical expertise, along with a commitment to delivering exceptional service. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair equipment and systems at customer sites. Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability. Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues, providing effective solutions in a timely manner. Provide training and support to customers on the proper use of equipment. Document service activities accurately and maintain detailed records of work performed. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and improve service delivery. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while on-site. Maintain an organised inventory of tools and spare parts for efficient service operations. Requirements A degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering or a related field is preferred. Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar role, ideally within the relevant industry. Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients professionally. A valid driving licence is essential for travel to various sites. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours as required.
