Full Job Description
Accountable for development and progress of NHS Credit Union’s (NHS CU) membership growth and marketing function.
Leading engagement with NHS/HSCP Boards across our Common Bond setting and executing plans to increase awareness of NHS Credit Union products and services and how they support financial awareness, and financial wellness.
Overseeing the creation, planning and delivery of financial wellness campaigns and initiatives which promote NHSCU products, values, ethics, services and brand.
1. Highly organised, methodically in task completion and familiar with working to deadlines and action lists.
2. Creating a pipeline of new members onboarding monthly using effective marketing, prospect data capture and pipeline management.
3. Develop and implement NHS CU’s member financial wellness strategy through associated products and policies.
4. Increase member growth in line with budget expectations and as agreed with the COO.
5. Ensure the achievement of targets related to the promotion of NHSCU financial products and services.
6. Provide insight and recommendations to the SMT regarding product improvement and opportunities for member growth.
7. Engage with representatives across our Common Bond including travel within Scotland. At times this may result in overnight stays within the Common Bond area.
8. Develop and deliver a programme of financial wellness sessions across our membership that aligns with NHS/HSCP financial wellness initiatives and time frames.
9. Foster relationships and partnerships across NHS/HSCP and staff wellness teams to complement the strategic relationships developed by the CEO.
10. In collaboration with NHS/HSCPs develop an annual plan of activity to include development of marketing and face-to-face engagement.
11. In collaboration with the CEO, develop an engagement plan, with payroll partners, corporate communication teams, trade unions, employee directors, professional bodies etc.
12. Ensure compliance of product advertised, promotional materials, marketing and website information being utilised in external engagement.
13. Proactively generate reporting and insight based on data collated that offers insight on member growth opportunities and informs performance improvement recommendations.
14. Coach the Financial Wellness Officer, ensuring appropriate training, support and development is provided and performance requirements are met.
15. Develop and present accurate and timeous reporting to create visibility of performance progress that delivers results and proposes actions to the team and SMT.
16. Collaborate with the COO on multi-channel marketing campaigns including paid advertising, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), social media marketing, email marketing, and offline marketing activities including building client case studies.
17. Proactively build a network of collaborative working relationships with key partners across our Common Bond to identify areas for growth and promote awareness of the NHS CU’s values, services and products.
18. Actively promote NHS CU’s services, values and brand through site visits and representation at local and national events, developing a detailed engagement plan and deliver on associated KPIs for each.
19. Respond positively to enquiries from partners across NHS/HSCPs and proactively follow up all opportunities for business growth and expansion.
20. Lead the development of targeted surveys and post campaign evaluations to identify areas of success and opportunities for growth and enhanced productivity.
21. Manage the creation and development of educational resources designed to enhance member experience and their financial wellness.
22. Escalate any matters of concern regarding business development to the COO.
23. Collaborate with the COO on initiatives designed to support member retention, reviewing the full member lifecycle with specific focus on retirement and emerging trends.
