First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic business that is looking to recruit a Qualified Flying Instructor on a permanent basis due to growth, located at their Middle Wallop (near Andover) depot.
As a Qualified Flying Instructor, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will be responsible for delivering army flying grading on behalf of the MoD to selected Army students.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Complete end-of-course reports.
2. Actively encourage and maintain a culture of military ethos throughout 6 FTS and embrace the Student Care Directives.
3. Maintain the highest level of safety and quality throughout the 6 FTS operation.
4. Ensure all communication, documentation, and typed material meet the required standards.
5. Complete staff continuation training requirements.
6. Ensure company health, safety, and environmental procedures are always implemented and complied with.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. Be fully conversant with Military Flying Orders.
2. Maintain a professional appearance and manner.
3. Exhibit excellent communication skills at all levels.
4. Focus on customer care.
5. Have previous military flying experience with a minimum CFS B1 QFI/QHI category.
6. Hold a minimum of a Commercial Pilot’s Licence, Unrestricted Instructor Rating (with Aerobatics), and a valid Instrument Rating.
7. Have completed a Flying Supervisors Course/Flight Authorisers Course.
