Our client is a world leading, family owned, manufacturer and distributor based near Accrington who have been in business for over 80 years. They Their business is stable with current turnover standing at £20million with ambitious growth plans to increase their turnover by an additional £10 million through growth in the UK and the global market. They currently supply their product to a range of business sizes in several different markets.
Due to their current employee moving on to a new business the company are seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger to join their friendly finance team.
As the Purchase Ledger you will be responsible for managing end- to- end invoice processing. As a team they are looking for a candidate who enjoys having a tidy ledger who is well organised and can nurture and take autonomy of the role, ensuring clients are being paid correctly and in a timely manner.
The Requirements
* Multi-currency invoice processing is essential due to the nature of the role detailed above
* The invoices are high in volume of multi-currency transactions, so it's important you have experience in a high-volume processing environment
* Experience using an ERP system would be advantageous, and confidence in speaking to other departments in order to resolve invoice queries quickly and efficiently
* Import and export experience, due to international delivery
* Manufacturing experience would be beneficial
